Among my father's effects I found a recording he had made of two poems by Federico Garcia Lorca. I do not know when the recording was made, but I think it was likely to be when he was in his early 80's - the voice is not quite as strong as it used to be, and the alteration of speech made by the false teeth is apparent. The poems are 'La Casada Infiel' and 'Prendimiento De Antoñito El Camborio En El Camino De Sevilla' from the collection of poems 'Romancero Gitano'. |
