The 'Lenin on the lamp-post' joke was stolen (entirely unashamedly) from a 1970 broadcast of the BBC radio comedy series 'I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again' (ISIRTA) entitled 'Doctor Zhivago and his magic tramp'.
